A modern-day indoor marketplace for everything you need, Festival Flea Market Hall is a one-stop shopping destination in Pompano Beach. With more than 800 stores under one roof, you can find just about anything here, from clothes and accessories to electronics and home items.
The flea market is a popular spot for shoppers who are looking for a good bargain. During the summer, they often host events and specials that will keep you coming back for more.
Located at 2900 West Sample Road in Pompano Beach, the Festival Flea Market has been operating for more than 30 years and offers more than 200 vendors. It rents space to small business owners that sell clothing, shoes, bags, jewelry, and other goods.
IDI Logistics, an Atlanta-based industrial warehouse operator, is in the process of purchasing the festival flea market from North Miami-based investment firm IMC Equity Group. According to the developer’s application to the city, it plans to build a 412,347-square-foot and 58,962-square-foot warehouse complex that will be located on the southeast corner of Sample Road and Florida’s Turnpike.
This is a huge loss for the community, particularly the small business owners and craftspeople who have been at the festival flea market for more than 10 years. Many of them are doing it as their only source of income and losing the flea market will mean a major financial setback for them.

Festival Real Estate LLC, an affiliate of IMC Equity Group, is seeking land use amendment and rezoning approval for the site to convert a 23.8-acre property into an industrial warehouse facility. It has a 382,000-square-foot commercial flea market built in 1986, which it has been renting to small businesses.
The flea market is near a Florida’s Turnpike exit, so it’s easy to reach from anywhere in the region. It also has a lot of traffic, which makes it an ideal location for the warehouse.
While the pandemic may have made some people reconsider online shopping, the flea market remains a popular destination for locals. It is a place where you can find some of the best deals in the area, and it’s a great way to experience a slice of Florida.
Take advantage of the festivals that are held throughout the year, such as the annual car show and antique fair. These events are held on the third Saturday of each month and feature 150 dealer tables selling a wide variety of goods.
Alternatively, spend a day at Tradewinds Park and Stables, where you can enjoy horse and pony rides and other fun activities for the whole family. The venue is also home to a butterfly farm, kids’ playgrounds and a model steam train that you can ride on.
If you haven’t visited the flea market in a while, why not make it a point to go and check it out next time you’re in Pompano? You’ll be surprised at the variety of goods you’ll discover. You’ll be able to find everything from high-end designer clothing and perfumes to antique furniture and collectibles.
